Not a mega sized trip with loads of people - was 4 of us and 7 others so just comfortable sized... read more boat. Dimitris and his helper were brilliant. Everyone had the chance to fish and everyone caught something which they cooked for us while we swam off the boat and served with a lovely salad and bread plus cake. Toilet on board was very clean. As a family of varied ages we all enjoyed this trip.

I looked around and found Eva’s in elounda. I reached out and booked a... read more trip with them. It was only 45€. It included some food, snacks, and drinks. Great!!! To far for my scooter so I took a public bus. I reached out to the owner Nektaria and her husband Dimitris to ask how far the bus was from port elounda. Should I take a taxi. She offered to pick me up from the bus station. I was blown away! Who does that? I offered her money for the trouble and she absolutely refused it. So I take the bus to agios which isn’t super far from elounda but hell no on foot. For some reason the bus driver insisted I had to change busses at the next stop to reach my destination. I thought it was strange but I did it. Well, where we stopped was my destination. Agios. I didn’t know. They didn’t announce it. When the ticket guy came round after about 20 minutes he looked at my ticket and said I missed my stop. My heart dropped!!! They literally made me get off the bus in the middle of nowhere at a bus stop and said wait for the next bus going back to agios. On the side of the road. I was like WTH?!? So I didn’t know what else to do but call Nektaria. She said hold tight my mom owns a tavern close by she will come get you. Bring you back. So I did. I felt terrible putting these nice people through so much trouble. Her mom Maria came and got me. Took me back to her pub and took great care of me until Nektaria came to pick me up. I’m only telling you all this because of the amazing people I was dealing with here. Real people!!! So she collected me. Took me to their boat and we sailed off with three other guests. All I can say is I had a blast. We caught some fish and the boat ride was awesome. I just can’t over the kindness of Nektaria and her husband. The boat tour was excellent. Dimitris is funny, charming, and respectful. After the fishing trip Nektaria showed me around elounda. Ancient ruins. Gave me a cool history tour. She also gave me some delicious sea salt she collected to take home. They have two boats and offer two different kinds of trips. Nektaria will be offering fishing trips on their smaller boat next year. They own a farm with live stock. They really embrace and respect the land. They were such interesting and loving people. You gotta go fishing with them. It’s a great value and an awesome experience. These people are the salt of the earth and they are the people that make the world great!!!! I know this review is all over the place but there was just so much to say it was hard to construct. Elounda is beautiful!!! And so are Nektaria and Dimitris. Much love to them both. ❤️❤️❤️

    star rating10/10  - Highly recommend to anyone who wants to do a fishing trip. A great time was had with Dimitsis. Beautiful boat too. See you again!
